Leaders in Soft Tissue Sarcomas Diagnosis and Treatment
A soft tissue sarcoma is a relatively rare type of cancer that grows in connective tissues. Soft tissue sarcomas can develop from soft tissues like muscle, fat, nerves, fibrous tissues, blood vessels or deep skin tissues. While soft tissue sarcomas can be found in any part of the body, they mostly develop in the arms or legs.
We are experienced in treating both adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of both benign and malignant (cancerous) soft tissue tumors
Sarcomas are not very common types of tumors and not all types of soft tissue tumors are cancerous. The American Cancer Society estimates more than 13,000 new soft tissue sarcomas will be diagnosed in the United States in 2018.
