Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Taryn Snyder, PA-C, MMS received her medical degree and physician assistant certification in foot and ankle surgery from Northwestern University. This was followed by 13 years in Chicago, where she founded her own personal training and massage company, as well as teaching, training and managing health clubs throughout the city. She currently holds ACE, AFAA and AAAI personal training and coaching certifications. Her experience in the fitness arena is bolstered by her previous tenure as a registered phlebotomist working in area hospital outpatient labs. Taryn has also designed diet, exercise and nutrition plans for diabetic, hypertensive and obese patients. Her passion lies in helping others live full, active lives by eating well, exercising regularly and ensuring proper access to proper health care. Taryn is a firm believer that healthy feet are a result of an overall healthy body, and encourages patients to keep their bodies strong. Taryn has called Denver home for the past nine years, and is happy to be raising her young family at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. As a busy mom on the go, she enjoys cycling, running, snowboarding and hiking with her family. A competitive athlete, Taryn has also participated in numerous marathons and triathlons. Taryn works closely with Dr. Fran Faro, M.D. and the rest of the Orthopaedic Physicians of Colorado team.
