Pediatric Emergency Medicine
Michele Chetham, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric emergency medicine physician. Dr. Chetham has compassionately cared for children with acute and chronic illness and injury for over 30 years. Expertise in pediatric and adolescent concussion management has developed from this depth of experience and additional study and training.

Dr. Chetham earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed a pediatrics residency and chief residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. It was her pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Children's Hospital that brought her to Colorado in 1992, and Denver has been her family’s home ever since. Dr. Chetham has been instrumental in developing Pediatric Emergency Services within Carepoint HC and throughout the Denver market HCA hospital system with many administrative and leadership responsibilities. She has been very involved with medical education for medical students, allied health professionals and physicians. In addition to mentoring and lecturing, she is very active in teaching with medical simulation through mock code scenarios. She has passionately shared her pediatric and emergency expertise thru medical volunteerism within Colorado and internationally.

Dr. Chetham enjoys travel and outdoor activities such as biking, hiking and snowshoeing with her husband Paul. They are blessed with two wonderful daughters, a great son-in-law and a sweet grand dog Sammy. Family time is always an adventure
